He discovers it by accident, tucked down a side street, hidden behind dark windows. When he steps inside, he's taken aback by the sheer variety and, almost immediately, his head is full of possibilities. He texts Lee, suggesting that they meet for drinks later in the evening, giving him a place to meet and a time.

Later finds George leaning against a wall, waiting for Lee, scrolling through his phone. He's dressed in a button down shirts, sleeves rolled up, and he uses the camera on his phone to preen a little, undoing another button before he snaps a photo and sends it to Lee.

"I felt that, you slut," murmurs George, but he curls one arm around Lee's waist, letting him ride it out.

"Mmmm," he said, studying the whip. "I'm not adverse." He idly strokes his free hand up and down the smooth skin of the small of Lee's back. Making sure to keep his voice low enough that the girl won't hear, he murmurs, Sure you could think of another use for the handle, too."

It’s insane how George can still take him by surprise. They’ve done so much filthy shit together but there’s always more to discover with him. George has done so much with so many people and sometimes it makes Lee a little insecure, but usually it just makes him super fucking horny and grateful for all of his freaky little ideas.

“Jesus,” Lee huffs out on a laugh, shaking his head a little. He likes how the sort of power play dynamic shifts between them. Neither of them are entirely submissive. They both have power, and it’s just a matter of how they wield it. Lee doesn’t have to be one thing or another. He can just be.

In that moment, Lee absolutely has to step away from George before he gets them both an indecency charge. He laughs again and playfully pushes George off with his shoulder before turning to go get a basket from near the door. Getting a shopping basket at a sex store is a very specific type of embarrassment, as it turns out.

“You boys finding everything okay?” The girl from behind the counter asks in a lazily amused sort of voice.

“Great, thanks,” Lee assures her quickly, holding the basket in front of himself as I he heads back to George. A few feet away, something catches his eye enough that he does a bit of a double take and steps back to get a better look.

It looks like more of a medical device than a toy, with a black handle with a sort of metal pinwheel at the end, shiny like a blade. Lee furtively glances over at the girl to make sure she isn’t paying attention and then back at George, intrigued but unsure why.

“Do you know what this is?” He asks quietly, reaching out to carefully pick up the one on display. “What could this possibly be for?”

"I've never seen one before, but..." He gently takes it out of Lee's fingers, taking the sharpness with the pad of his thumb, turning the wheel a little. He takes hold of Lee's free hand and lifts his arm, holding it level as he rolls the device asking Lee's skin.

"For the sensation, I think?" He says, and then a thought send to cross his mind. "Likely, you could draw blood with it."

Lee watches as George takes the took, brow furrowed curiously as his arm is lifted. George seems to have the right idea with the thing, and Lee’s eyes widen a little at the sensation. It’s less intense than a tattoo gun, but a similar sensation.

He likes it instantly and lets his arm go lax in George’s grip, eyes going heavy lidded as the needle rolls back and forth across his skin.

And then his eyes snap open, pupils expanding as he looks at George’s face. His jaw works and he swallows hard, feeling as if he needs to be very, very still. As if he’s standing on a cliff.

“Is that— that’s something people are into?”

This isn't necessarily a conversation that they need to have with a witness, but Lee's expression is so open that George can't resist it.

"I don't know," he admits. "But it seems to me that blood? Isn't that different from other things, in the end."

Bodies are bodies, after all, and he'd felt the way Lee had reacted, his mouth over that scrape on the back of George's neck. Something about it had excited him, and George believes in indulgence. "Or does the blood have to be because you scratched me?"

Lee feels frozen in place, eyes wide and wet, and he quickly glances over his shoulder to look at the girl. She’s facing away from them, leaning over her phone, and Lee turns his head to look at George again. His eyes harden slightly as he fights the urge to flee.

He’s terrified, but the look on George’s face isn’t one of disgust, or disappointment. He looks open and warm, receptive even, and Lee’s chin wobbles a little as George asks him about it like he’s genuinely curious.

“I don’t— no, I don’t think so,” Lee rasps out, wishing he wasn’t under these fucking bright lights. “It’s not about the hurting. I just— I see it and I want it. I want to swallow it.”

Saying it like that, he understands why George can compare it to other bodily fluids. But there is so much that Lee is leaving out. He spent say how he always likes to bite and tear, to feel his teeth sink through flesh. He’s disgusting. He’s—

“I’m a monster,” he rasps out, quiet yet emphatic, turning his head to the side as his eyes start to water.

"Don't say that," says George, uncharacteristically firm. His mother once told him that only children believe in monsters and, while he knows that isn't technically true, he also doesn't believe that the man in front of him is one. Anymore than he is. They're both what the world made them.

"Hey. I didn't mean..." He curls his arm around Lee's shoulders, tugging him in close, given him the opportunity to hide his face, if he wants to. "It was only a suggestion."

George wraps an arm around him and Lee tenses for a second, then sets the stupid basket on the floor and tucks his face into George’s neck, arms wrapped loosely around his waist.

They stand there for a long moment and eventually Lee takes a deep breath and sighs, relaxing a little while he clutches at the back of George’s shirt.

“I can’t believe you made me cry in a fucking dildo store, you dick,” he says against George’s collarbone, but then he hugs him even tighter, like he’s grateful.

"Well, I genuinely didn't mean to, so there's that," says George, holding onto Lee right with one arm around his waist. "We don't have to. It was just a suggestion. But I was there that night, and I want to..." He turns his head, brushing his lips against Lee's skin. "I want to give you everything that makes you feel good."

Lee seems to hold his breath as George speaks, then lets it all out in a rush at the last part. It stuns him, and he feels a little like he wants to sob right there next to the nipple clamps, but he manages to keep it in.

George is offering so much of himself, but he doesn’t have all the information. He’s missing a very crucial piece, and Lee wants to tell him so badly, but he can’t. He knows he can’t.

“That’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me,” Lee admits truthfully, sniffling a bit and burying his face in the soft hair behind George’s ear. “I’m just— I’m not a good person, George. I’m not sure I deserve it.”

He doesn’t want to drag this on, especially not in public, so Lee cradles the back of George’s skull and rests their foreheads together for a long moment. “But— thank you.”

He's seen no evidence that Lee is as terrible a person as he insists, and he's left feeling like he's fucked up in a way that he can't quite put his finger on. Still, Lee leans his forehead against George's, close enough to kiss, and George drops the pinwheel into the basket. They can discuss it more later, in private.

"I think we need more restraints," he murmurs. "And I know you said no to blindfolds but what about gags?"

George doesn’t try to argue with him, but he doesn’t pull away either. He doesn’t seem to know what to do, but Lee can’t really blame him. He’s probably coming across as such a fucking weirdo.

He doesn’t say anything right away, but he drops the pinwheel into the basket and that feels like it says a lot.

And then he just keeps talking like nothing happened, but his voice is low and calm, and all Lee can do is grab him by the face and kiss him hard, like they’re in a movie. Like it’s the only thing he ever wants to do.

The kiss takes him by surprise, but it's a good one, deep and hungry, and George figures it can't be the first time that someone has been kissed in a place like this. When the kiss breaks, he looks at Lee.

"Was that a yes, or...?"

“Seems like maybe you do need a gag,” Lee says with a soft, fond laugh, stroking George’s cheek with his thumb and just stares at him for a long moment, marveling over him.

“Yes, okay,” he says as he makes himself pull away, picking up the basket and maneuvering George over to a display of gags. He feels embarrassed by his little outburst, but George is giving him an out. They can move on like nothing happened, for now at least, and Lee is thankful.

“I am against covering any part of your face, for the record,” Lee says with a smirk, sliding his hand into the back pocket of George’s pants. He sets the basket down and reaches forward to pick up a ball gag, brow lifting as he imagines George’s mouth stretched open around it. “But this intrigues me.”

He squeezes George’s ass through his pants and drops the gag into the basket. “We need something to secure your legs, too. I want you helpless.”

Lee says it sweetly, nuzzling at George’s shoulder, and then heads back to wear they found the wrist cuffs. He’s looking for something similar, but his gaze lands on what the tag says is a spreader bar and he lifts his eyebrows curiously, pointing at it before looking over at George with a smile that’s somehow impish and shy all at once.

“Like at the pond,” he says in a low voice. “But with that on your feet and your hands cuffed.”

The glee which Lee slides back into is a relief, and George is content to stand there, arse fondled, as Lee narrates his thought process. The thought of the gag is obscene, but George thinks it preferable to one of the ones that seems designed to fit into his mouth and keep it open.

When Lee points out the spreader bar, George feels his cheeks flush.

"I wouldn't be adverse to that," he says.

George’s cheeks flush a delicate shade of pink, blood rushing through his body because of Lee, and he turns his head to brush his lips across George’s flushed skin, humming his approval.

“I fucking love it when you blush,” Lee murmurs in his ear, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek before reaching down to grab the bar. It’s collapsible, which is nice, because otherwise it would have been an awkward thing to carry home. But he would have done it just for more of that blush.

“Is there anything else you want to look at?” Lee asks, grabbing at George’s hip as he looks around the store. His gaze lingers on the garter belt again, but he remembers what George had said in the woods, that’s never felt like anything but a man, so Lee doesn’t feel the need to bring it up. Instead he looks over at George curiously, slipping his thumb through a belt loop on his pants and squeezing his hip hard, drawing him in closer. He can’t ever seem to get close enough. “Any other ideas buzzing around in that filthy mind of yours?”

Lee drawing attention to it only makes him flush more, and George wants to point out how unusual it is that he blushes at all, that he only really does it for Lee.

He pauses, looking down at the varied contents of the box. "That feels like a lot to be going on with," he says. "Did you..." he hesitates, just for a moment. "Pick up the lead to go with that collar, or..."

George seems to hesitate a little, and it puts Lee more at ease. George may have more experience overall, but they’re both new to all of this. They’re going to figure it out together, which George blushing all the while, and Lee is so, so ready for it.

“Right, yes,” Lee says with a charmed laugh, heading over to the collars again. He finds a leash with a silver chain and a leather loop at the end, one he could maybe also use to leave marks, and puts it in the basket.

As he looks down at it, he realizes that he didn’t even check the price of anything. His eyes flash with anxiety over the cost, but he tempers it down easily. Lee is so used to being frugal, and those habits carried over to Darrow. He has more money in his bank here, so he decides he can splurge.

“Okay, kitten,” Lee says warmly, more of a tease than anything else. He feels better, but he’s eager to get out of this store, away from all the bright lights and chemical plastic smells. “Are you ready to go? I want to kiss you some more.”

"Kitten?" asks George, arching a dark eyebrow as they turn towards the girl at the register who is making a studied effort of pretending that she's been ignoring them the whole time. "That's a new one."

He moves to take the basket from Lee's hand.

"This is my treat," he says. "Something about being complicit in my own degredation appeals."

“I’m working through a list,” Lee volleys back, but it’s clear by the look on his face that this one was mostly just to make him laugh.

“What? No, it’s gonna be so much.” He feels a little distressed when George takes the basket, but Lee lets him. This was his idea, and he says he wants to, so Lee doesn’t argue further. He huffs a little, then nods and reaches over to grab an absurdly large bottle of lube.

“Fine,” he says and he sets the bottle down on the counter. “But I’m getting dinner.”

“You guys are cute,” the girl says in a friendly tone, smiling as she rings them up. “Have you been together long?”

Lee blinks at that and laughs awkwardly, unsure of how to answer. They’re not together, not really. But they’re also not not together, right?

“We’ve known each other for some time now,” Lee says vaguely, clearly irritated to be asked a personal question by a stranger. Especially one who probably just watched him cry.

"We were friends, first," says George, putting his card down on the counter so that she can swipe it. He doesn't exactly know what him and Lee are to each other -- they don't need a label -- but he knows it's different now than it was. His hand finds the bare small of Lee's back, stroking soothingly.

"What do you want to get for dinner?" he asks, as she continues to pack their selection. "Take out? Or find a table somewhere?"

Thankfully she seems to take the hint, and Lee doesn’t even realize how hard he was glaring at her until George’s hand is on his back and his face relaxes.

George’s comment makes him smile a little, because their first night together was a hell of a way to kick off a friendship. They are friends, is the thing. They’re probably best friends, and Lee knows that they’re something else now. But they don’t have to put a name to it. George seems to be on the same page, and it only makes Lee want him even more.

“Delivery,” Lee says sternly, turning his head to look George in the eye. “Later at your place.”

"Later," says George, managing to keep his face straight, even given Lee's tone. The girl holds out the bag and his card and he takes both from her, putting his card away and offering Lee his free hand.

"Let's go, then."

George’s face doesn’t change but his spine goes the slightest bit rigid. Lee manages not to smirk, and instead takes George’s hand with an almost smug little smile. They turn to leave and the girl says something to them, probably to have a good night, but Lee is too focused on getting them out of the building.

He knows from his walk here that there’s an alley about half a block up and that’s where he leads George, pulling him a few yards into it and then turning to grab him by the shoulders and shove him back hard against the brick, staring at him for a long, intense moment before leaning in to kiss him hard, coaxing his mouth open to lick his way inside with a needy grunt.

Being kissed like that in an alley reminds George of the first night they met, and he groans softly, pushing back from the brick to give as good as he gets. Half hard since they stepped into the shop and Lee started choosing, he's suddenly achingly aware of his cock, like every drop of blood in his body has rushed south.

His pushes the fingers of one hand into Lee's hair, pulling hard, pushing his luck.
